A FRESH BRUNCH IF YOU MISSED BREAKFAST...

Sometimes we wake up late and we realized we are starving but for all of us that are used to eat something fresh in the morning before eating something more compact in the afternoon, here is an idea for a healthy delicious BRUNCH....!!!

Coming from a country where fruits are available 365 days a year. It is hard not have them present in a daily bases that is why during the summer I try to include fruits to my meals as much as I can, because I know winter will restrict my options.

Ingredients:

  • Cherries

  • Strawberries

  • Corn

  • Fresh Cheese (Spanish cheese)

Preparation: - For the fruit bowl: Wash your berries very good and put them in a bowl, add yoghurt and/or granola if you want! - For the corn just boil it on water for about 5 minutes after the water is boiling and serve with slides of fresh cheese.

AND ENJOY!

Benefits: Eating a bowl of fruits specially berries is a healthy and delicious choice! Why? According to ShaMagazine (a magazine from a wellness clinic) berries have high content of flavonoids that help to delay ageing! It's never early to delay that process :) . But also berries contain antioxidants that help prevent diseases such as cancer! Does the corn have any benefit? Besides from it amazing taste corn not only contain ingredients that help in "controlling diabetes, prevention of heart ailments, lowering hypertension and prevention of neural-tube defects at birth"(organicfacts.net) but also for those worry about its weight corn actually is NATURAL weight-loss food because its properties make it hearty and satisfying which will fill you faster and keep you full for a while so you may avoid snacking between meals!
